Sloar Participated in a Charity Wine Tasting to Benefit Akamasoa Argentina

On Thursday, August 6, several members of our Board of Directors and SLOAR members participated in a charity wine tasting to benefit Akamasoa Argentina, a solidarity organization and movement founded in Argentina by Gastón Vigo Gasparotti, inspired by the work of Father Pedro Opeka in Madagascar.

The Akamasoa community works to combat poverty and create new opportunities through education, employment, and community support.

It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, during which we enjoyed each other’s company and shared as a community, while learning more about the work of this NGO and having the opportunity to make a modest contribution to support and advance its great work.

We thank the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina for organizing the event and for inviting us to participate.
