On April 16, we held a very important event: a masterclass explaining the key points of the new Labor Modernization Act. The presentation was led by Dr. Alejandro Vommaro, an attorney specializing in corporate labor law and a founding partner of the law firm Reibel – Vommaro & Associates.

On March 19, we kicked off our company visits for the new year.
On this occasion, we toured the facilities of Tecniark, a company that for 28 years has been dedicated to the design, development, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning of electrical panels, as well as the production of metal enclosures for electrical use in various models and sizes.

On Tuesday, February, 3rd, we held our first meeting of the year with our valued partners, the representatives of the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina. Ambassador Tina Vodnik, Tija Kuhar, and Igor Šef attended the meeting. Representing Sloar were President Martín Kriz and Vice President Antonio Oblak.

On Tuesday, December 9th, we participated in an exclusive lunch with the Executive President of the Argentine Agency for Investment and International Trade (AAICI), Dr. Diego Sucalesca; the European Union Ambassador to Argentina, Mr. Erik Høeg; the Head of Cooperation, Ilse Couge; and representatives from European binational chambers interested in identifying investment opportunities for European Union countries in Argentina.

On the evening of Wednesday, December 3rd, we had the pleasure of wrapping up the year’s events with a dinner for our members and key partners. Ambassador Tina Vodnik and Chargé d’Affaires Igor Šef were also in attendance, and we would like to extend our special thanks to them for their ongoing support and collaboration.

On the weekend of November 22 and 23, the Slovenian Ambassador to Argentina, Ms. Tina Vodnik, diplomat Tija Kuhar, and Honorary Consul Jože Šmon visited one of our first partner companies, Bajda SRL. During their visit, they toured the main plant and learned about the history of a family-owned business founded in 1951 as the vision and dream of a family of Slovenian immigrants, led by Peter (Pedro) Bajda.

Between Sunday, November 16, and Tuesday, November 18, we welcomed the Slovenian trade mission from the Primorska Chamber of Commerce, which until early December was touring different cities in Latin America to meet with various communities of Slovenian entrepreneurs and professionals based in the region.

On Tuesday, October 28, together with the new ambassador Tina Vodnik and Honorary Consul Herman Zupan, we visited the production plant of Interpack, one of the largest companies in the HZ Group.

On Friday, September 19, we took part in a very special breakfast at the University of CEMA. On this occasion, we were invited to participate in a discussion with Esteban Domecq, Diana Mondino, and Roque Fernández, where we debated the country’s economic situation. We were present alongside several business leaders from various sectors, including the automotive, metallurgical, and industrial sectors.

On September 19, we took part in a large gathering, where we not only met the new Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to our country, Tina Vodnik, but also saw the embassy’s new facilities.
