On Saturday, the 6th of July, we were part of a great meeting at the Slovenian House in Brazil, located in São Paulo. This space, also known as “Slovenski dom Triglav Brazilija”, was inaugurated in October last year and its purpose is to be a space that gathers Slovenians, their descendants and sympathizers, to keep alive the history of the Slovenian community in Brazil. It centralizes the social, cultural and business activities of the community.

On Friday, July the 5th, taking advantage of the visit of our executives to São Paulo, we had the opportunity to get to know up close the factory of one of our partners located outside the limits of our country, Innovapack embalagens.

Last Friday, July 5th, we were part of a very special event: the official launching of the Slovenian business map in São Paulo, Brazil.

Continuing with the series of visits to companies, on Monday, June 24th we had the opportunity to visit Gredan, together with Igor Šef, current Chargé d’Affaires of the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina. Gredan is a company recently associated to our Chamber, in the field of logistics and distribution of goods.

On Friday, June 7, we visited a company of Slovenian origin located in Paraná, Province of Entre Ríos. SUINO S.A. is a family company dedicated to the production of high-quality cold cuts and sausages.

Last Tuesday, May the 28th, we had the pleasure of meeting again with a dear colleague: Antonio Marín. He is Vice Dean of Universidad del CEMA and Director of its Business School.

During the second week of June we had the honor of accompanying again the Slovenian businessmen from Equinox d.d., in their visit to analyze the hotel market in our country.

Continuing with the tour of companies founded and managed by Slovenian families, on Friday, May 10, it was the time for our executives to visit Luvik, a company with more than 50 years of experience in the wholesale distribution of food and various items for daily consumption.

On May the 8th and 9th a new edition of Expo Construir, the most important construction business meeting in Argentina, dedicated to architects, builders and real estate, was held at the Hilton Hotel.

On Thursday, May the 9th, the Ambassador of the European Union in Argentina, Amador Sánchez Rico, called for a great celebration on the commemoration of Europe Day.
