SLOAR Hosted a Visit from Andraž Stegu, CEO of Goričane

On May 29, we had the pleasure of once again welcoming Andraž Stegu to Argentina. He is the CEO of Goričane, Slovenia’s leading paper company and one of Europe’s most prominent firms in the industry. The company is also part of our network of international partners, cementing a long-standing relationship with SLOAR.

The visit took place as part of the Slovenia–Argentina Business Forum 2026 and occurred in the days leading up to the arrival of the Slovenian business delegation participating in the trade mission held in our country.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on current market conditions, strengthen institutional relationships, and explore new possibilities for cooperation between Argentine and Slovenian companies. It also allowed us to further deepen the ties built over the years and generate new opportunities for collaboration and joint growth.

Martín Kriz, president of SLOAR, and Antonio Oblak, the institution’s vice president, participated in the meeting and discussed with Andraž Stegu a work agenda aimed at identifying initiatives that contribute to the development of business ties between the two countries.
