On the weekend of November 22 and 23, the Slovenian Ambassador to Argentina, Ms. Tina Vodnik, diplomat Tija Kuhar, and Honorary Consul Jože Šmon visited one of our first partner companies, Bajda SRL. During their visit, they toured the main plant and learned about the history of a family-owned business founded in 1951 as the vision and dream of a family of Slovenian immigrants, led by Peter (Pedro) Bajda.

Between Sunday, November 16, and Tuesday, November 18, we welcomed the Slovenian trade mission from the Primorska Chamber of Commerce, which until early December was touring different cities in Latin America to meet with various communities of Slovenian entrepreneurs and professionals based in the region.

On Tuesday, October 28, together with the new ambassador Tina Vodnik and Honorary Consul Herman Zupan, we visited the production plant of Interpack, one of the largest companies in the HZ Group.

On Friday, September 19, we took part in a very special breakfast at the University of CEMA. On this occasion, we were invited to participate in a discussion with Esteban Domecq, Diana Mondino, and Roque Fernández, where we debated the country’s economic situation. We were present alongside several business leaders from various sectors, including the automotive, metallurgical, and industrial sectors.

On September 19, we took part in a large gathering, where we not only met the new Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to our country, Tina Vodnik, but also saw the embassy’s new facilities.

On Friday, June 19, the founders of Slovenian Global Business Network (SGBN), the until then Vice President Aljaž Gosnar, Dr. Peter Kraljič and Dr. Bogdan Šalej, after five years of voluntary work under the slogan “doing business with Slovenians is winning” handed over the leadership of the organization under the new statute to Dr. Robert Frandolič.

On Friday, June 6, we were invited by the Minister Counselor and Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Argentina, Mr. Igor Šef, to visit the new facilities of the embassy.

Last Tuesday, May 13, we had the opportunity to visit two large Mar del Plata companies. They are F.A.M.A.A. and Sierra Brava, both owned by the Usay family.

Last Thursday 08/05 we visited together with Igor Šef, current Charge d’Affaires of the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina, the industrial plant of the Sabič family, dedicated to the production of elastic steel elements.

On Tuesday May 6th, together with Ucema we organized one of the first meetings of the year, the Ucema Sloar Community Conference.
