9. Martinovanje, 69. Slovenski dan and the 75th anniversary of the Slovenian Society of Mendoza

Between November 14 and 17 we had the opportunity and the honor to participate, in Mendoza, in a new edition of the “Martinovanje”. During those days, several representatives of our Chamber were present at this event, which allowed us to strengthen ties with Slovenia and all its representatives in our country.

The program consisted of cultural activities, in commemoration of the respective anniversaries: 75 years of the Slovenian Society of Mendoza and 69 years of the central organization of Slovenians in Argentina, Zedinjena Slovenija. Also, within the framework of the ninth edition of the Slovenian wine festival “Martinovanje”, there was also an opportunity to visit several wineries located in the area of Guaymallén.

Finally, on the last day of this great meeting program, our representatives took part in a lunch attended by all the representatives of the different Slovenian organizations in Argentina, together with the leaders of the Slovenian-Uruguayan community. 

We specially thank the Slovenian society of Mendoza for organizing this great event and we hope to continue sharing, for many more years, the culture of friendship and work that characterizes us Slovenians so much!
