Visit to Gredan

Continuing with the series of visits to companies, on Monday, June 24th we had the opportunity to visit Gredan, together with Igor Šef, current Chargé d’Affaires of the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina. Gredan is a company recently associated to our Chamber, in the field of logistics and distribution of goods.
It is a family business, born from the dream and work of Antonio Grbec, a Slovenian immigrant, who arrived in the country in 1949, from the refugee camp.
In 1950 he started working as a driver, making trips for other companies, until he bought his first truck in 1960, with which he began to offer his services independently. This hard work and effort culture, transmitted by Mr. Antonio to his sons, was what made them create what today is this wonderful company in 1992.
Today Gredan has 30 years of experience in the market, a fleet of more than 70 modern vehicles and personnel highly trained in ISO 9001 standards, which makes them specialists in handling dangerous goods.
The tour of the company’s facilities was in charge of María Cristina Belmonte, Eduardo, Javier and Dalma Grbec, to whom we are deeply grateful for the invitation.
We are very happy to be able to get to know each of our partners and their needs in greater depth. We will continue working together!
