On Tuesday, April 23rd, our President, Mr. Martin Kriz, paid a visit to Gaber Maderas, one of the founding companies of our Chamber. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Argentina, the Chargé d’Affaires, Igor Šef and his Economic Counselor, Tomas Kastelic.

On Thursday, April 4, we attended the international conference on transition and sustainable development for the construction industry in São Paulo, Brazil.

Last Friday, April 5, we had the honor to attend a working lunch together with our friends from SLOBRAZ and founding members of Slovene Dutch Business Platform (SDBP), Franc Matjaž (Tičo) Zupančič and Edo Sternad.

This award recognizes an individual or a team of explorers credited with a significant recent mineral discovery anywhere in the world.

On Thursday, March 14, our president, Mr. Martin Križ, together with our second vice-president, Mr. Antonio Oblak, led a visit to Kras Industries. In this meeting we again had the pleasure to be joined by the representatives of the Slovenian Embassy in Argentina, the Chargé d’Affaires Igor Šef and the Economic Counselor Tomas Kastelic.

Last Tuesday, February 20, we met again at the offices of the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Argentina. 
In this opportunity we were part of a meeting attended by our president, Mr. Mr. Martin Križ together with our treasurer, Mr. Antonio Malovrh. The meeting was also attended by the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy, Mr. Igor Šef, together with his economic counselor, Mr. Tomás Kastelic, as well as the directors of the Slovenian real estate company Equinox Partners d.o.o., Mr. Matej Rigelnik and Mr. Peter Krivc.  

As part of his visit to Slovenia during the first days of February, the vice-president of our organization, Engineer Andrés Kocmur held a meeting with the directors of the Gospodarska Zbornice Slovenije (Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The GSZ is the largest, most powerful and influential business network in Slovenia, covering all regions of the country, as well as all sectors of activity, centralizing all regional chambers. 

Last Thursday, January 18, the Secretary of Communication and Press of the Nation, Eduardo Serenellini, received at the Government House the SLOAR Chamber, represented by our authorities Andrés Kocmur and Antonio Oblak, together with the directors of the Chamber of Wood and Related Industries (CEMA) and the Argentine Chamber of the Industry of Doors and Windows (CAIPYVA).

Mrs. Vesna Humar, State Secretary at the Slovenian Government Office for Slovenian Minorities in neighboring countries and Slovenians living in the world, toured South America. As part of her visit to Argentina, last Friday, November 3, we had the honor of participating in a meeting between the delegation she heads and representatives of our institution. In addition, on that occasion, the Secretary together with her companions, Undersecretary Susana Martínez and Chief of Staff Anja Lorenzetti, also had the opportunity to visit the facilities of two of our associated companies, Interpack and Talleres Crovara.

Last Thursday on October 5th, we had a very important celebration. It was the way to celebrate the success since our Chamber was celebrating two years of productive work. A stage full of efforts focused on the realization of projects we set ourself as goals of our institution. To highlight it we organised a dinner which was attended by members, friends and special important guests.
